Has anyone used the SoftRaid driver on Aminet? Is it any good? Are there any other RAID drivers (software or hardware) out there for the Amiga?

i did give it a go ages ago, but i got bored trying to configure the drive geometry. best thing is to get a scsi raid box that raids your drives automagically, and presents itself as a "normal" scsi disk device to whatever scsi controller you are using.

A500, A600, A1200x3, A2000, A3000, A4000 & a CD32.
and probably just like the rest of you, crates full of related "treasure" for the above XD

The hardware 4-disk SATA RAID controller that I designed works well with the Deneb. (albeit the RAID support software needs porting to AmigaOS)

Oxford Semiconductor UFS936QS

It's coming out soon under several guises if you want me to point you towards one?

It's a triple interface (USB2.0 HS, 1394b, eSATA) to four SATA disks.

RAID 0, 10, 3, 5

When I find out the names of the devices which use this chip I'll post back.
