Actually, I still fancy an Alesis Quadrasynth, even though old and neither analogue nor particularly advanced. It just looked so nice when it came out :-)

I used the RackMount version of the quadrasynth years ago... We did not have a happy relationship... I think I found the interface a bit of a pain...

Frustrated... I can't make it do anything other than make basic waves at various frequencies. I don't have the patience for it TBH...

That's good, because that's what you want to do... Now play with the amp envelope to get the sound to alter over time... Then use the other Ocilators to modify the basic wave sound :)

Ok, I'll try that! I don't actually know what amp envelopes or oscillators are... I don't suppose it really matters if I can get a feel for what they do.

I tried seeing if my poor little pre-april peg would boot up with the MOS2 live CD, but so far no go.

It could easily be my fault.

Not used it much since my EFIKA isn't yet in a case so I'm scared to use it too much ;-) So far it's rapid. Sputnik seems like a really nice browser. And the Nox theme looks lush! Looking forward to having a good look around once I have finished my Lego case.
