Scored a nice bit of amiga stuff
« on: July 30, 2008, 03:04:20 AM »
Got a collection of amiga stuff for trade to do a little bit of PC work.  The lot included 2 amiga 1000's (1 has the insider 1 meg and 256 k expansion, and the kickstart ROM inside it) the other one was a stock 1000, a keyboard adapter to use an amiga 2000 KB with the 1000, Amiga monitor, 2 Amiga 500's, an amiga 500 mb, Amiga 500+ MB, Amiga 500 68020 CSA Midget Racer, 2 512k RAM expansions, 2 Clock/RAM expansions for the 500, a 5-1/2 external Amiga Floppy drive, software and some other stuff I haven't had a chance to go through.  I love it and am shifting through my new stuff.  I also got a ton of boxed games like afterburner (which i played for a while on the 1000), battle sqaudron, stealth affair, magic johnsons basketball ect.  I just wanted to let every1 know the kool stuff I got:) to add to my miggy collection.

Great haul! Yeah, those CSA products are pretty good. Their old website is still up, even though the company is long departed.

Great score! I know the feeling, it's like being a kid unwrapping a stack of X-mas gifts. Enjoy!

Awesome, not long ago I found myself presented with some free Amiga stuff (i.e. A1000,software,books etc.).  Its a wonderful feeling knowing that you may have saved this stuff from the garbage heap.

lol if i sold one it wouldnt be until I fully restored her to her original beauty and needed to make room for a different model amiga:)  I still need to get an A2500 for my collection and an A600, A500+ (complete) tho.  I already had an A1200, A3000, A4000 and A1000 all expanded in some form or another before this lot.  I used to have an A500 but it kinda went TU so being able to replace her is nice also.

Yep, in an old thread.

CSA Inc. and still there for crying out loud! I remember talking to one of the employees back in '94 on some issue, maybe the memory expansion.

Hmm. Is there anyone living east of San Diego who can see whats there now at the old address?
