Amiga Point of Sale Laserdisc
« on: July 22, 2008, 11:23:32 AM »
I recently found an Amiga point of sale laserdisc from 1988 or so. I've posted a clip of it to my blog:

Nice video! Though it is probably a bit younger than you assume since an A3000 is shown.

I think the whole thing runs 47 minutes or so.
The first segment was 17 minutes.
Maybe I can break it up for youtube.

video.google.com takes longer video segments or at least they did.  You shouldn't have to split it up into 10 minute segments.

Impressive stuff for the time, iv never really seen video editing taken that seriously on an Amiga before (privately).

WOW! Imagine if they would have create TV and print Ads based on even that segment. Certainly couldn't have hurt sales at all. The biggest problem with Commodore was that US management never understood what they had. It was up to other division to do it right and they couldn't even have enough vision to replicate what was done right in the US market.

Oh, well - that video is REALLY well done. I'm going to share it with friends.
I think, Therefore - Amiga....
