@Zetec-S
Got my Efika open client today.
Congratulations, and welcome to the club! :-)
whatever I type at the OK prompt I can't get it to boot off the harddrive.
So what did you type exactly?
Is your boot partition the first partition on the disk, or is it some other number? What file system does it have?
What message did you get as response?
If you have correctly set the "boot-device" and "boot-file" OpenFirmware variables to point to your boot partition and boot file (including any boot parameters) respectively, you should be able to boot simply by typing "boot" and hit enter (and if that work (but only if that is the case) you can optionally set the "auto-boot-timeout" and "auto-boot?" variables in order to autoboot). You can see what current values the variables have by typing "printenv"
Please have a look at the boot section here for more info:

http://www.pegasosppc.com/manuals/SmartFirmware.pdfhttp://www.pegasosppc.com/manuals/SFUserManual.pdfThere is one more which is really extensive, but I can't remember where it is. Open Firmware is really powerful and flexible. It can look complicated at a first glance, but it's really not. But OK, just to get going and setting the boot info you don't need to read all this! ;-)
