New listings on ebid!
« on: July 04, 2008, 06:16:43 PM »
Hi!,
Just to let everyone know that I have started to list lots of new (old-stock) and pre-owned boxed Amiga games on

http://uk.ebid.net/stores/Zoogamer

Check out my postage policy and please let me know what you think about my pricing?

Thanks

PS might put some hardware on soon?

Sorry at present ebid only covers certain geographic areas, America, France, Spain, Italy, Oz, UK, Germany, Japan, Canada, and a few others!

I stopped using ebay for the same reason 1000's of others have....they are far to greedy with their fees!!!!

I have just paid £49.95 for a life time subscription and up to 5 shops!!!
No listing fees and only 2% Final value fee if I use a gallery picture and sell an item.

The site is growing all the time and perhaps it will soon cover other countries???

I'm after a bit of feedback on my prices if you wouldn't mind?

I'm thick skinned so if you think my prices are way out then please let me know ;-)

I took a look at the prices and from what I see on eBay I think the prices are pretty much similar and pretty fair too :)

That's good news!!!
Also did you see what I am offering on the postage? If it's a lot less than the quoted price I will refund the excess after cost (jiffy bag etc)!!!
Some boxes way a ton (not quite but you know what I mean)

I have a simple returns policy......if it don't work, send it back for a refund!....no quibbles!!!

Also check out my profile......I'm even brave enough to show my ugly, nerdy mug

hehehe cool policy you have :) I didn't look too much in details as I didn't see any games I "must have" :) I am mainly looking for certain Cinemaware games (Amiga versions) and vintage Sierra games (PC) :)

Judging by the content of the eBid shop, you'll go a long way :-)

Will be interesting to see what hardware you might be auctioning off ...

I'm thinking of re-housing A1200's in a custom case/CAB and making an Amiga gaming cabinet? Might happen this year?
Stick in a CRT TV (do you remember  those  ;-)) with SCART connection, WHD with some free games!

Built-in-joystick/arcade game pad etc.

I already made a M.A.M.E cab last year so thought I might have a go with an A1200.

I'm open to any suggestions?

As for games, I will continue to list what I have?
I do co-own a PC repair shop with a sign in the window saying that 'we buy & sell retro games', from this I get people off-loading their gear on a regular basis.

Also I live in a 'posh' area!!!!! the Amiga was very popular and quite often users could afford the expansions etc? So I do pick up expansion cards and so on!

I myself am an Amiga user and my current system is an Amiga Technologies A1200, 3.1 Roms, OS 3.9. Blizzard '030'-50 mhz, 32mb Ram, 40 GB HD and loads of pre-installed games. looks great on my 37" LCD TV!

I'd love a M.A.M.E cab for the 6250 ROM's in my collection but too expensive to justify it  :-(

I'm in japan and it definitely doesn't work here (tried from three different connections). not that I'm pissed or something, just so you know.
