I too lost an A600 to busted caps!  As I understand it, you leave the machine in storage and then pull it out to use it.  It runs fine for awhile but, after a few uses, you turn it on and the machine is dead dead dead.  Luckily there appear to be a number of sources for new A600 motherboards if yours is toast!
