New ZIP standards with encryption

Hello
Winzip had announced new ZIP file format with
256 bit Encryption (AES). Unfortunately PKWARE
use their own proprietary standard (closed).
Will AmigaOS and MorphOS follow the new ZIP
standard? Which one, AES or Pkware?
