FA: Blizzard PPC
« on: June 21, 2008, 12:01:07 AM »
I have decided that I do not need a PPC card for my amiga.  So I am selling the one I have.  It has been tested and is working fine.  According to Sysinfoit has:
68060 63Mhz
PowerPC 603e 253Mhz

Comes with 256Meg ram.

The fan is a little noisey, but does work and keeps things cool.

The 060 shows 84.76 MIPS and the PPC 315.05.

Edit: Have decided to place it on ebay.  It can be found here:

It might be worth noting whether it has the SCSI chip or not.

@ webmany: Congrats. I see you made a cool grand on that PPC card.

I am very curious to find out what people actually do with these rare cards. My bliss consists of 68K assembler, several productivity applications on Amiga, playing with Video Toaster and lately AROS. Aside from "checking out" Amiga OS 4, what other use can one get from a PPC card? In context of $$$ one has to pay for them.
