When do u plan and/or intend (if ever) to release IBrowse 3 ??
Why the IBrowse team shows such disrespect for the community (however small it can be nowadays), is beyond me !!

Whether u intend to release it in 2 years time or before summer is due, please tell us !!

Could you release it just now (even if it isn't in a final state), in a sorta "open beta" program to test it and report bugs ??

What? I think you're disrespecting the IBrowse team here, not the other way around. IBrowse is developed in peoples spare time, for little return. They owe you nothing, and you're hassling them?

We should be appreciative that anyone is making Amiga software at all, regardless of how far between updates.

Its fine to ask about progress, but this was not the way to do it.

Collecting stamps is done in one's spare time.
If they have little return, they should drop it... or start collecting stamps :)

So the only thing you should do in life without expecting financial reward is stamp collecting? That makes no sense.

Secondly, the way to do it is not to be hostile, and accuse people of disrespect.

I'm with xeron on this one. With the attitude shown from 0amigan0 it's no wonder the developers quit the scene.

Anyway, if you are unhappy with the situation, make your own browser!

I have to agree with Xeron, this is not the way, nor the place.

Some people program in their spare time, instead of collecting stamps.

Do you seriously think they can make a living on developing IBrowse? Heck, if it wasn't them investing their spare time IBrowse would have died years ago.

So, go show some respect.

I always prefered A-Web anyway...

Last time I checked it was open source I think.

BTW Did anyone ever make a way of playing flash on the Amiga?  Or is the algorythm copyrighted???

IBrowse 2.4 has a flash plugin, but it only supports really old flash standards.

I started with Aweb originally, but switched to IBrowse pretty quick.

I'm no programmer, but, I've read in other forums that it's no small feat to add CSS to IBrowse.

Did the IBrowse team develop the Flash plug-in or was that a seperate project/team?

@ IBrowse Team

I've been using you browser for years and appreciate the inprovements you've made and it's continued development.  Please don't get discouraged.  I would offer to assist but I doubt I have the skillsets that are required.

If you decided to charge for the next major release (instead of grandfathering those who originally registered), you could count me in.
