Nice feature to offer newbies. I've been singing the praises of VNC for the Amiga for ages. Especially if you have an RTG gfx card.

Which Amiga VNC viewer are you using?

VVA?
TwinVNC??

Sounds cool; I love VNC. Is EasyNet offered as a standalone product? I already have a network card for my A1200, and I don't see it listed on your site under software.

The forthcoming next update of EasyNet is nearly finished- but it looks likely it will be on the Live Update server tomorrow due to a request to add support for an Italian ISP (Alice.it)

If any users want another unsupported ISP added, please suggest it.

Does it go the other direction?  That is, can I control workbench from a vnc client running on xp for example?

If not, there are free VNC servers for the Amiga.

http://dspach.free.fr/amiga/avnc/index.html

Of course it only works in workbench and with OS legal applications.

I tend to use two monitors, switch off video sending in VNC and use it to just send the mouse & keyboard information from the Amiga to the PC. Then I can have one keyboard, one mouse. Ensures compatibility for games on the Amiga this way round.

Anyone tried an Amiga X11 server? I wonder if you could open a web-browser remotely on a linux box with this?

Yes. Yes.

Or at least you could. It seems something in X changed couple of years ago and Xami no longer wants to connect.
