EasyNet configuration problems
« on: June 10, 2008, 02:56:36 PM »
I got the package from AmigaKit today. I installed the EasyNet program. I configure the settings as the manual says, I connected to the internet only once. EasyNet's live update found the new version (0.168) so I downloaded it normally. After that I cannot go on-line. What's wrong? I've checked my settings and are correct. Also fastethernet.device is in place.

Looks like you got on the net OK with the settings with EasyNet v0.167

v0.168 has a new changed Interfaces Manager and support for USB network cards.

Goto Interfaces and select FastEthernet.device- it should report it being installed OK.  Finally click Save and restart the Amiga.

If you still have problems, goto the Help Menu and select Configuration Help..

Pmail this to me and I will find the problem.

Incidentally, EasyNet 0.167 will be renamed in the same directory as EasyNet.old if you want to revert to that version.

Thanks AmigaKit. I will try this tonight and I will send my configuration options as well if I will encounter any problems.
