« on: June 06, 2008, 04:21:25 AM »
I'm looking for a good deal on an original Video Toaster board to go into an Amiga 2000. Also will want to find a TBC card.

Thanks.

He thinks $40 is a good deal. I think $20 is a good deal. Sell them to me and I'll sell them to him. It's win win win! :crazy:

Well, I was serious and made my deal on a Toaster card today. I'm still in the market for a TBC card. If anybody has one, please let me know which one and how much you want for it. Thanks, friends.

@mbrantley

If you stick with digital sources, MiniDV camera, SSD camera etc you will not need a TBC. Also so your Toaster does not get lonely don't forget add-ons for her.

Pyromania/DiscreetFX,

Thanks, that's good information, and I will look at your products. I have a Canon XL1S and do the Final Cut and iMovie thang across the room from the 2000 on my PowerMac G5. I honestly don't have any idea what I'll do with a Toaster, but I just want to play.

I bought a DPS Personal Animation Recorder card and drive along with the Toaster card. After reading up a bit on it after the fact, I'm pretty jazzed about getting that particular  piece of kit.

Now have to decide whether to put the PAR into the 2000 with the Toaster or my souped up 4000, which will never have a Toaster in it (have CV643D with scandoubler module in that machine).
