prism2.device on Mediator?
« on: June 03, 2008, 11:54:36 PM »
The readme file from the prism2.device archive says:

prism2.device is a SANA-II network driver for 11Mbps wireless Ethernet cards
based on the Prism II chipset and variants. It supports PCMCIA cards in the
A1200/A600 and PCI cards in AmigaOnes, Prometheus-equipped Amigas and PCs
running Amithlon.

So, I cannot use it on my Mediator-equipped Amiga?

I'd like to know this too...

As if you can't your only other option is right angled PCMCIA adapter and even then the signal will be poor...

 :-(
Machines:

- Mac Mini, G4 1.5ghz, 512MB (1GB Soon), Radeon 9200 64MB, 80GB HD, OSX 10.5 (Leopard)
- PCs, Laptops... *yawn*... :D

I forgot to mention for my Mediator A4000, so no PCMCIA adapter. :-(

I'm telling this because I installed also WiFiSignal.lha to test it, but SnoopDOS gives me that powerpci.library and prometheus.library is missing. So I think not...
