Hi and thanks rich. I allready have a socketed 50mhz crystal fitted and the voltage regulator fitted so when i move that resistor you have kindly shown me in the picture all should be good. Id like to say thanks very much for all your kind help and everyone else who gave me help on this forum. Im really glad i joined the forum as it has given me the info i need to make the board work, hopefully it works
I will post back soon to let evaryone know the outcome

Also, you might want to check out EAB (http://eab.abime.net) - an excellent site for all things Amiga, especially modding.

If you do join EAB, make sure you post a picture of your upgraded B1240-1260 - it will make a guy named Zetro very happy :lol:

I am going to do just the same you did, and am wondering about this very jumper :) Has it solved your issue?

And also did you fit the three SMD diodes in series close to the 3.3v voltage regulator, as can be seen on 1260? Are they needed at all?
