Hello from Allanon!
« on: May 08, 2008, 11:19:22 AM »
Hello,
my name is Fabio aka Allanon, I'm an old Amiga fun and I'm following the AROS path since 2006.
Actually I'm developing a database engine called SDB written with LUA but recently I've switched the development in Hollywood.
I'm working on a library called SCUI too, it was born siplify the life of who need gadgets with Hollywood (if you are interested here is a video http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=8yR-JqAAP98).

Good Coding ^^
 :-D

Welcome. It sounds interesting.
Does it need any C or C++ to work?

Actually SDB is written in LUA but it's not yet completed, to run this you need to install Lua at least 5.1

SCUI is written for Hollywood so if you want to include this library in your projects you need Hollywood 3.1, I hope to release a beta version in two or three weeks.

So there is no need fo C or C++ to work

Hello and welcome Allanon.

Great to hear about Amiga developers, you are a rare breed and very few of your kind are left in the world.

Interesting name you have chosen for your Amiga.org login.  Most people in the USA would associate it with an organization for people that are addicted to alcohol, "Alcoholics Anonymous".

I hope that is not your intention and you do not suffer from such an addiction.

I look forward to reviewing your coding work when it is done.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)
