Looking for low height copper heat sink
« on: April 29, 2008, 04:18:37 PM »
Any one know of any shops where I can buy a copper heat sink in a strange size as follows:

L = 40mm
W = 30mm
H = 6mm (this is the most important part, the height)

i bought a low profile copper heatsink ages ago for £15 a from a shop. (ripoff i know but it was convenient.)it was recommended for my socket 370. i wanted it small so it didn't block a ram slot. it made my pc crash worse than a normal one. i couldn't use it and went back to the old one.seemed like a waste of time to me. i no longer have it.

i think ebay is your only bet?
i will bless them that bless you. i will curse them that curse you. gods promise to his chosen people the jews.

Hi guys, thanks for the input, but performancepc.com site does not seem to work.  I found these at  Startech but I will have to cut and paste them to get the proper size.

Maybe I will do that, thanks for the info!
