Well, I had a hard look at going 128 + 128 and came to the conclusion, one of them just would not fit properly with the simms being fat, 2 sided types. My 128 would fit in one socket but not the other, so i never bought a second.

Now what happens when you have both in there? Only 128MB shows up? None?

Another logical test might be to test one alone, and then the other. See if they in fact work.

I tested them alone and the work. But I cannot get working both at the same time!

Maybe they have different tolerance to RAM speed setting on BPPC menu.

Individually they cope but together they conflict. Try setting RAM speed to 70ns in BPPC menu.

You could also try updating your flashrom to the latest version, if it isn't already.

Can't see why this would make a difference, but you never know.

Ok, so we know they both work, that's good.

I would try this now, in which socket do they work? I would
like to see if 1 will work in the flat socket, that pinches
next to the accelerator.

The angled one that sticks out, has no restricts physically,
it's usuallynot a problem.

Sounds like a bad contact issue.

Put the recent purchased SIMM in flat connector (as TheGoose said). If no juice, you can always use some kind of physical "pusher" to force the SIMM to make contact to the board.
Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.
