I'm still struggling with my poor 486/100 Laptop and AROS. I partitioned and formatted the Laptop's HD using my A1200. But I still have to boot from the boot disk, as I don't have a CD-ROM for that particular laptop. Unfortunately, booting from the floppy disk is extremely unreliable.
I urgently need a text editor, this would allow me to edit the boot disk's startup-sequence (all I need it to do is reassign the important logical devices to my HD and continue with the HD's startup-sequence), but I couldn't find anything on the latest ISO?
Alternatively, some hints on how to use install-i386-pc would be nice (I read somewhere it reached a usable state by now?). Where is the correct kernel located on the ISO, where do I find Grub etc.
