How to turn an A500 into a lamp
« on: April 04, 2008, 05:11:01 PM »
Ran across this on the internet.  Kinda cool, but kinda sad.

Now I looked at it and thought what would be really cool would be to have an A500 lamp like that, but if the 500 still was functinal.  The drive and all that could be located some distance away or hidden somewhere (maybe a tiny CF-IDE flash based drive) who knows, but that would really be cool.
A3000D (16mhz, 2MB Chip, 4MB Fast, SCSI (300+MB), SuperGen Genlock, Kick 3.1)
Back in my day, we didn\'t have water. We only had Oxygen and Hydrogen, and we\'d just have to shove them together.

.....and before anyone says "yeah, but it looks cool", Why not just print the A500 mobo design to a sheet of acetate? Reminds me of the sort of plonka that sticks half a sheep in a tank and calls it art. BURN THEM ALL!!!!
Falling into a dark and red rage.
