Hi,
Have you tried to register at a different jabber server ?
According to this site, jabber.org does not support MSN , ICQ etc.
It could be that jabber.org dropped support for msn etc,
after the jabberwocky guide was written.

Regards,
Lloyd

Connect to movsoftware.org, and you'll have then plenty of agents (icq & msn too).
Anyway is the only way

There used to be many jabber public servers, now there are just 4 of them:

http://www.jabber.org/im-services

im.flosoft.biz claims to support MSN, AIM and other protocols, so I'd check that out.
