Mirage 4000 Power Tower audio problems

Hi,

I have bought a Mirage 4000 Power Tower, and no problems installing it.

My problem is then, that when I try to play a MP3 or a CD disc, or playing a game, I can't hear anything at all, even though my speakers are at max! If I install the motherboard in my desktop there are no problems at all, even when I use the same speakers, and I don't need to turn the to max.

Obviously I bought the tower becuase I need the space for all my devices, but I haven't connected them yet, so they are not the problem...

My config is
A4000, CyberStormPPC 68060/233, 9.1 GB Quantum SCSI hd, 2 x CDROM, 96 MB on CyberStorm, 8 MB on motherboard, Elbox A4000 Zorro III/II PCI, Mediator PCI 4000

Anyone out there that has experienced the same problem? Anyone else who can help?

Check the -12 volts in your new PSU.

No, unfortuanately, but I was told that the CyberStormPPC could be the reason for that.

I fear that my parallel port doesn't work either :-( Haven't tested it yet though...

audio and serial port, uses both the -12 volts line.

Never heard that CSPPC, could make problems, with the serial port.

Check if your Mirage PSU (standard ATX PSU), supplies the -12 volts correctly.

I was told earlier at a Danish Amiga site, but thanks for the info anyway.

The Mirage 4000 Pro Tower uses an AT PSU. I have checked the -12V and this is the actual faulty wire.

The problem is not the same, by the way. He can't install his motherboard, I have installed my motherboard weeks ago. I posted my problem there as well, but decided to post it as a new subject, to get more answers.
