how about to christen again the old amiga chipset name for the amigaone system (agnus, Paula, Denise , copper, blitter, etc) ;-)

I guess I would never know. I just knew the Paula cause thats what the audio drivers for some programs listed.  :-D

There wouldn't be much point, as at it's core, the AmigaOne is just a PPC ATX motherboard, with (almost) no custom chips.

You could do that - but remember that you'd have to think of a name for ever co-processor hardware that the A1 can use :-)

How about calling the ArticiaS "Grumpy"
and the south bridge... "Grandad" (since he's getting on a bit)...

Then it's up to you what you name the other chips because you choose them. (GFX, Sound, Networking etc...)
