OS4 & Sam440ep

Hello guys,

I am wondering if Hyperion Entertainment VOF will release

Amiga OS 4 for the Sam440ep since the end user version of

this board seems to be available now.

Only if Hyperion wins the court battle against A.Inc. And that battle has far from ended yet..

Ah so there are legal problems between Hyperion and Amiga Inc and so Sam440ep and Efika manifacturers would remain with hardware useless without software and especially an OS!

That's right, so now it's not the right time to buy a Sam440 or Efika. But I think Efika can't run AmigaOS 4.0, it's capable of running MorphOS 2.0, right?

Those problems have been widely discussed on all Amiga sites - under which rock did you hide the last year? :lol:

So basically those systems have indeed no OS, apart from Linux. AOS4 is not likely to appear on either Efika or Sam anytime soon (if ever). I'd rather put my money on AROS or MorphOS2 for that matter....

Last year did not exist Amiga OS4 for Classic too and I was busy toput my A1200 desktop in a tower with Mediator PCI and so on and I was not aware of what was happening with Sam440ep , EfiKa and Amiga OS for these systems.
