Well, I have an Amiga4000 PPC networked with an XPpro-PC.

I remote-control the PC from my Miggy with the registered version of "RDesktop (Remote Desktop)". This way I can redirect the PC's screen, Keyboard, mouse and sound to the Amiga and operate it from there.

To exchange files between the two machines I use SMBFS.
A few days ago I transferred about 3/4 of an gB in one go from the PC to the Amiga this way.

I might try SAMBA, if someone could show me the advantage(s) over my current setup, so I will follow this thread - but currently my setup meets all my needs.
All the best,

Dandy
