Make Kickstart floppy from AmigaForever CD???

Last night I set up one of my favorite Amigas, the A1000 which is almost mint condition and has no "add-ons", so must start with the insertion of a Kickstart floppy disk.  I then went searching for my Kickstart disks and could only find one copy of v1.3, which when inserted was not recognized as a Kickstart disk.

Does anyone know how to create Kickstart floppies from the files on the AmigaForever CD?

I would like to have v1.2, v1.3 and perhaps v2.04 or v2.05 Kickstart floppies to play around with on the A1000.

 If you or other Amigan near you with another true bootable Amiga, simply transfer the image to his/hers/its Amiga and write a new kickstart disk to you with one of those ADF to disk utilities on Aminet.

Stock A1000 can only use 256KB Kickstart ROMs. So anything > 1.3 is out.

Kickstart 0.x betas, 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 are possible. You can't use the images on the Amiga Forever CD directly, however. You must boot the emulation and then use program to save the file. You can use SaveROM from BlizKick archive.

Once you have the ROM image in a file, use WriteKickDisk to create the Kickstart disk.

Finally, it's also possible to combine the Kickstart and Workbench disks (at least if you implode most of the WB files, or delete unneeded stuff). See KickWork thread.

If you don't come up with any other way, I have a kick workbench disk, and also have a kickstart disk for the Amiga 1000.

I could not have wanted a better or more complete answer to my problem.  I remember reading the KickWork thread with great interest, but will read it again and try to create my own KickWork disk as well as a complete set of KickStart disks.  IIRC, Piru had his own directions on how to create a KickWork floppy, that was slightly different than the original author of the commercial version.

It is help and answers like these that make the Amiga community what it still is and hopefully always will be.
