Gidday from WA (Australia)

Hey All,

1st ever computer was the A500 back in 1986 Xmas
mainly a gamer, however i had a keen nose for the disk structures and became fluent in hex and modifying tidbits - mostly done via DiskCraft. Mates also had Amigas and i spent alot of time fixing issues for them - now alot older and a tad hazier i find the battle of pc and amiga compat insane - hence i like the ADF file as it is familiar territory. out of Amiga scene, i repair stereos vcrs etc (prefer to work on stereos from the 80s

i have plenty of disks for my A500 - but am grateful for the ppl who archive so many valuable games, without them so much would be forever lost!

- Baily :)

G'day Baily,

I'm in Perth too, not too many of us around. I live south of the river and keep my numerous Amiga's going mainly to play games on.

I'm an Amiga nut from WA too. I used to live in Perth, but am living in Bunbury at the moment. Good to see more Amiga users still alive and kicking in my locale. :)

I just had to post and say "Hi" as I'm typing this from Sidney airport having left Perth around 5 hours ago after visiting the in-laws for 3 weeks.  I even passed through Bunbury as my wife and I spent a couple of days in the Karri Forest area.

Oh well, I guess we missed the chance to have a mini Amiga convention at Hillary's Marina with some fish & chips from Sharky's.  I did get to see Miss Nude Australia 2007 dance around a pole last Thursday.

Next stop is Santiago in Chile and then onto Rio... 24 more hours of travelling...
