Dig the Amiga
« on: March 13, 2008, 02:02:08 AM »
Hey everyone, I just joined this site today. I guess I'll start out by saying that I fell in love with the Amiga when I was in high school back in 91. I was into computer animation and when I found out that the Amiga could produce 3d animations I was obsessed. I bought Amiga World magazine and even got the Amiga World Animation Video Vol 1 and 2. Unfortunately I never got an Amiga of my own. I now have a new macbook pro and I run E-UAE. I just downloaded it and am trying to discover the world of Amiga for myself. It's great to see a website dedicated to this great computer system. See you around the forums. I'm gonna have lots of questions about E-UAE.

Welcome, cool things have been happening.  Some of those things have not actually come to past, but there is hope.
Amiga 2000 Forever :)

Welcome to Amiga Community.
Just don't ask for any software copies.  Buy amiga software whenever you can, its what i live by.
Support the few software companies & dealers left.

Welcome,

I too was a fan of Amiga World magazine back in the day. I worked my "behind" off at 4.00$ an hour and I also sold raspberries I picked on my dad's land to save up enough money to purchase a 2000. I never saved enough but my parents met me half way. The 2000 followed me almost through college.

UAE is very nice. Hope you have lots of fun with it.
