£40 ($80) perhaps double if it is real museum quality, box and all.

Hard drives for A500's are not that sort after, users tend to just upgrade to an A600 or an A1200.

If you got two A500 zealots both at the same auction you might start a bidding war :-)

A good bit of advertising here on all the Amiga boards (in all languages) Amiga.org also Amibay(EAB), Amigaworld, LemonAmiga etc. etc. together with offering shipping anywhere in the world and ability to accept PayPal could improve the final price even more.

Sorry, I just assumed that all these came with some Ram  :-o

I know mine came with 2Meg and as this seller doesn't seem to know wether it's for Atari or Amiga - I guess he won't know what's inside it  :getmad:

 i saw that one too.

£40-£60 i would say is a fair price. i paid about that for mine, plus i got a supra turbo28 thrown in aswell! :-)
it is THE hard disk upgrade if you want to boost your A500 though...

if you had an A530, now those are the proverbiale rocking horse excrement. then you'd prolly be looking at about £100+. i guess you could say the same for most A500 accelerators.

as for the GVP 286 add on card, no-one gives a monkeys about these anymore, unless you REALLY like ancient PC stuff...

best of luck  :-)

A500, A600, A1200x3, A2000, A3000, A4000 & a CD32.
and probably just like the rest of you, crates full of related "treasure" for the above XD

That doesnt set it apart from all other A500 side car hard drives. Even the Commodore A590 is a mem upgrade too.

This is the second most sought after A500 side car after the ICD trifecta HOWEVER it was the best selling A500 hard drive and so it is not rare by any means, there are 10's of thousands of them out. Large supply lowers the price.

I picked one up for just over £20 on ebay several weeks back. It was without packaging, manual or set up disk. The drive wasn't fully tested (I replaced it with a bigger disk anyway) and the seller didn't mention the fact there was 8Mb on board... so from a sellers point of view don't forget to mention the Ram!
Minimig ¦ A500 ¦ A600

The amount of memory doesn't matter.

2*4Mbyte 30-pin SIMMs ~ £4 on ebay.

Just mention that it can take upto 8Mbytes of FastRAM will be enough.
