$150 for an untested A3640? You're joking right? Halve that price and it would still be expensive.

I did say it was a working pull.

I've never had a working pull from my equipment fail to function.

100% positive feedback means either it works or I make it right and I've never had to make it right.

Having said that, I'm sure I can manage to open a machine up and successfully test it...I may be able to take care of that today.

I also include a "return for money back" in 7 days in the return policy area!

As for the price, I will repeat what I've said concerning other listings...

I've used the 'fixed price' listing and accepts offers.

I'm consistently amused at how many on here think telling a seller what something is worth will get them to give it away.

fyi, the same card has sold for $120+ in the recent past on ebay in various countries.

Sincerely,

-- Sprocket...

I remember seeing the $120 card on eBay, BUT it didn't sell.
There are some Amiga cards that just don't bring much. These no RAMed clunkers fall into that catagory. I have one I would love to sell too....
A2000 GVP 40MHz \'030, 21Mb RAM SD/FF, 2 floppies, internal CD-ROM drive, micromys v3 w/laser mouse
A1000 Microbotics Starboard II w/2Mb 1080, & external floppy (AIRdrive)
C-128 w/1571, 1750, & Final Cartridge III+

this one did...

http://cgi.ebay.com/Amiga-3000-4000-A3640-68040-CPU-accelerator-card_W0QQitemZ120220673829

there's another up now with a few days to go that's already has bids.

also, my understanding is that memory can be added with the X-Calibur memory expansion board.

accelerators with RAM, fully populated, are going to go for more...if someone already has RAM they may have a different opinion of what a thing is worth.

We have marketplace forums so users can mention when they're selling or seen something others might want.  All sorts start offering value judgements.

Thing is it always comes down to the same thing...if one person needs a thing, for the right price, it will sell.

I repeat, make me an offer.

Sincerely,

-- Sprocket...

4000T has an 040 or 060 card in the cpu slot and no processor on the mobo.

4000D also uses a cpu in the slot I believe.

3000 has 030 on the motherboard but has a cpu slot too.

you might want this if your cpu card is broken..

...or for a 3000 where this cards noted conflicts with some zorro cards won't impact you.

everyone's hardware is getting older and things do sometimes require replacements or backup.

God knows what happened in that Oz auction.

$45 is more like what it's worth.

I sold my A3640 v3.1 for ~$110 on eBay when I got my Cyberstorm.  Keep in mind this is the states and the Amiga prices are not the same as in Europe.  Also, with the weak US$ this isn't that bad of a deal.

Here's   the one that sold for ~$120.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

I typically list smaller items that aren't problematic to ship as available for "worldwide" shipment.

(Considering the exchange rate for U.S. $ where .67 EUR = $1 even with shipping sellers can be ahead in other countries.)

..I do like how people telling me it isn't worth having is keeping the thread active and getting more traffic to the listing!

hehe

They are all off to bid here ;-)

Is yours a full 040 or an LC (i.e. No FPU)?

One of these has just sold on uk.ebay for £26.00 which seems reasonable.
