Hello again,
I wasn't sure if I should put this in gaming or hardware as it sort of applies to both, but hopefully the right people will see it and be able to give me the answer I need!
I have just bought a quickshot aviator 1 flight yoke to use with my amiga 500 and have discovered that it is, well, backwards! Basically the x axis is reversed with respect to other joysticks, so pushing the stick forwards sends my F-19 skywards instead of towards the ground. This has obviously been done so that games that do not have their x-axis flipped by default will have them done so by the joystick, and will work correctly, but leaves me a bit lost.
I COULD open up the joystick and do a bit of rewiring, but I’d rather not. What I'm wondering is if I could get some male and female 9 pin joystick style ports, and make myself a little adapter by just crossing over the up/down pins while leaving all the others as normal. This would then just be plugged in between the joystick and the Amiga and could be removed when not required by a game.
Would this work? Sorry if its not as clear as it could be.
Cheers
