seriously i mean NO ...but the a1200 was an option to all who had little money..

same as a500...

so yes i think amigaone one light should come, to have a smaller prie tag and maybe somewhat limited in some places, mainly because not everyone is as rich asthey want to be.

but if you talk of a desktop case etc, nah...just use mini ITX etc :)

i would have no prob with a 17cm x 17cm case :)

cheers
Whats up with all the hate!

Yes :-)   Just a little console that you can plug straight in (even to a TV if you don't mind the terrible resolutions) and use straight away.  IMO the current A1s won't be expanded that much ATM anyway - while developers are still supporting the old Phase5 cards, I doubt that many programs will stretch an A1 to the max.  And the A1 lite will be far easier to towerise (no custom towers etc needed).

How long do you think it'll be after the A1 lite is released that someone will try it?

So I guess that A500, 600, 1000, 2000, CDTV, CD32, are pure garbage then? Thanks for posting here.

a1 in one of those mini cube things would be sweet with the original amiga badge blasted all over the sides and neon lights inside showing off all of its glory through the transparent lid... :-)

dunno about in an a1200 case tho, would it fit? nah, leave the a1200 as a classic miggy :-)

The A1200 is a true classic I agree, but being that they'r still in use today goes to show you that an updated version would be a great idea, and possibly seller as well, a small  functional computer, why would you want a box, no matter how small.

Yes, as an extremely cheap home computer for an age group far below current Amiga users, based on a Pegasos/Morphos or A1 in mini-itx format (a P64/A64, so to speak).

The idea would be to put the AmigaOne Lite into it.  We will add a CDROM and stiffy (still a debate).  There's no problem as to the design of the case as it's been around since the days of Petro.

We will modify it a bit and give it those awesome colours that some of you want.  Maybe also a silver with a black keyboard.

We'll keep you guys in touch....

VIVA Amiga..... squash some butterflies

Now your talking, sounds like a great concept, and with the Amiga One Lite MB and OS4 what more would a true computer enthuisiast want, a fast and friendly, cheap realiable home computer that could be taken anywhere, outstanding. :-D
