The next box could be:
 * Spartan-3E with softcore MC68020 + AGA
 * Ports as Minimig1 +
 * DVI/HDMI, SPdif, Ethernet

After that:
 * Virtex with builtin PPC, with softcore MC68020 + AGA
   Using the PPC as "accelerator"
   RocketIO as SATA disc controller.
 * Ports as above

Just free thinking.. :crazy:
Don't forget issues like transmission line effects within the pcb, multilayer, oscilloscope debuging, BGA-hell etc..

Otoh, a suitable developerboard can proberbly do it all without the fuss. Just needing some creative HDL code :-)

The floppy emulator seems to be pretty cool - no need for hard drive / accelerator and extra RAM on A1200 (to play games from WHDLOAD).

One good thing with the minimig is that you dont need to use any floppies anymore, with whdload you still have to use floppies when installing games on the harddisk.

Kauer,

   Where can I find more information about the "Tabajara A601"?
   What it is?

 Aminet? AmigaBR yahoo page? Both?

 BTW: It's a guide to make your own A601 from a PCI slot and a 72 pin SIMM bank.

Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.
