Probably one of the top Amiga dedicated monitors. Well done! :-)

 :-o £14.99

That was a bargain for such a great monitor as the Philips CM8833 MKII with built in speakers. Congrats! :pint:

I also have one with a dodgy switch. I would suggest that you leave the switch in the ON position and turn it ON/OFF at the mains supply like I do :-)

Bargain? I recently sold 2 of those for 5 euros a piece. Those things practically grow on trees over here, just like the many incarnations of the C=108x monitor.

Different over here it would seem. A few months ago someone kept nagging me until I let him have my spare CM8833 MKII for £60. I've regretted parting with it ever since.

Can you send me a pack of seeds to grow one of those monitor trees please? :-D

FYI the CM8833 MKII (this monitor) has the 9-pin "CGA" style RGB connector whereas the older CM8833 has a SCART connector.

If you need an RGB monitor lead for the CM8833 MKII they sell on ebay for about £7

Useful for at least 2 years (before Analog is switched off).

Just get a Freeview box instead, you can get one for under £30 in the supermarket.

that tv tuner is well retro.

"Just get a Freeview box instead, you can get one for under £30 in the supermarket."

then pay £150 to get a digital aerial installed. as they never work with what you have...
