Amiga OS 4 (classic) ahi and docky questions...
« on: February 03, 2008, 03:02:17 AM »
Hi folks,

just wondering.. why AHI in OS 4 sounds so bad and low? I installed AmigaAMP and I'm using the AmigaOS4 specific decoder, but the sound is awful whiple playing mp3. So I opened AHI prefs and turns out that I can't set frequency to over 29KHz or so, compared to 48KHz I was using in OS 3.9... why?

2nd. and.. dumb question.. I wanted to use that DiskLed Docky by the SFS Guy, it seems a useful docky but it doesn't seem to work on my system. It's suposed to support trackdisk and SANA II devices, meaning it can monitor scsi.device and x-surf.device for example, right? So I set the tooltypes like this:

DEVICE=scsi.device,0
DEVICE=scsi.device,1
DEVICE=x-surf.device,0

and then I put the docky in Amidock, the docky DiskLED shows there but when there's HD activity on those devices or the network card, nothing appears... isn't it suposed to work the way I configured it?   :-?

Cheers,

D.
