MiamiDx, Ibrowse2.4 and SSL
« on: January 31, 2008, 10:28:19 PM »
Is this possible?

I've done clean installs of Miami Deluxe 1.0c (says version 3.2b2 on aminet) and Ibrowse 2.4 from ibrowse-dev.

With my original keys.

Now, when I try to open SSL links Ibrowse says that my AmiSSL isn't installed or is too old. What is up with that?

Do I need to also install MiamiSSL221.lha?

Miami and Miami Deluxe are two different products. Miami is at version 3.2b and MiamiDeluxe is at version 1.0c. You cannot install Miami Deluxe if you downloaded Miami.

Miami Deluxe: http://aminet.net/search?query=miamidx10

Remember that there's settings for SSL in IBrowse. Preferences->Settings...->Security
If you use MiamiSSL select the "Use MiamiSSL" and if you use AmiSSL, unselect it and select SSLv2 and SSLv3 support.
Daily MorphOS user and Amiga active.
