Small delay in delivering Minimig
Unfortunately some delays forced us to slightly postpone the shipping of Minimigs. We would like to offer our customers the usual high quality service as a sign of respect for the many orders we received so far. Therefore we need to delay the shipping of the Minimig that will start on February, 1st.

Our apology and our thanks to all whom are waiting.

We would also take the opportunity to give more details about the PSU needed for the Minimig. The board needs to be powered with a stabilized 5V, so you'll need a PSU which can deliver such power and with a jack connector.

ACube Systems will also sell a Minimig bundle inclusive of an adequate PSU. This bundle will be available at the price of EUR 149 (excluding local taxes and shipping cost).

With every Minimig sold will be included a 1GB SD Card. It's plenty of space for your ADF files.

When ordering please specify if you want the board only (inclusive of the SD Card) or the bundle (Minimig+PSU+SD Card).
/Dennis

I read that earlier too.  I like the fact that they're supplying a tested memory card and for a little more a tested PSU.

I wonder if any dealers in the US are acting as distributers for Acube otherwise I'll going to order one directly.
A2000, A3000, 2 x A1200T, A1200, A4000Tower & Mediator, CD32, VIC-20, C64, C128, C128D, PET 8032, Minimig & ARM, C-One, FPGA Arcade... and AmigaOne X1000.

How much easier is it when the Minimig comes with one that you know will work, so you don't have to wander down to Radio Shack and spend half an hour explaining to some moron what you want, only to be told that it's not in stock and they'll have to order one.   ;-)

I'm a fan of "one stop shopping".

Any bog standard 5v stabilized psu will do, or must it be a mil spec one?
Besides it's still a DIY project, as in, unfinished. So a little understanding of electronics and soldering isn't too much to ask for?

Good point.  Actually, the first thing I need to do is go through the 5 gallon plastic container I have which contains all the transformers I've collected off old telephones, laptops, etc and see if one fits the bill.  There's proably about 30 of them in it and I'm willing to bet none of them are the correct type.  :-D

What are the chances of Clone-A coming out any soon? Minimig really interests me but Clone-A does more as its supposed to be 100% perfect. Thanks!

Ask Amiga Inc about Clone-A delivery times.. soon. . it's just a bit delayed..... :-)

I think when it comes to Amiga. Hard proof accompanied with REAL working stuff. Is the only thing that counts.
