It's not possible to use it on an standard A1200? Would overheat?

Just for curiosity, but how much are you expecting? ~500 USD?

Yeah, but with prices for this kind of hardware lately greediness takes over and a lot more are prepared to sell.

I think you should double that amount with all the os4 hype going and $ falling ...

but selling it from a 0 feedback seller will reduce the final going price.

I have to start somewhere. Everybody starts somewhere.

I'm not being greedy. Everything has gone wrong for me lately. I just need some cash.

I have no idea what to expect for it.

It would fit a standard A1200, but only just. It would need extra ventilation and a better PSU.

It's not greediness when you sell things on eBay. It's just a know fact that people are more willing to pay an arm and a leg for things. Though I'm don't really recommend all of it, I know it's necessary sometimes to make a little bit of money.

Funny how its completely okay to spend an outrageous amount of money hardware that is pushing 12 years old and set it in a closet, yet when people need to sell their stuff, it's an act against the religion of Amiga..

Just the two cents I had to borrow, since I don't own my own.

@Nick

Trust me I know and feel your pain. I can empathize with. I've had to sell countless items on eBay, do unspeakable things around my town, and sacrifice time and other sub-luxuries just to save a little money.

As for the retro computer stuff stuff, so far I've had to sell all my controllers (including my Wico stuff), various software packages, my project OS 3.9 ready Amiga 4000 motherboard, my Commodore 1981 3.5 drive, my RGB equipment. Two of my Atari 1050 disk drives (one of them even had one of those "smartdisk" chips), and one of my Amiga 4000 systems..

I'm still in debt. Really don't have much more now but to sell the rest of my Amiga software, my other Amiga 4000 with my PAR, my Amiga 2000 with the VLAB, my acoustic guitar, and my electric bass guitar (my truck is a necessity so that's not even on the list.)

I think in the end of the day, if people are stupid enough to bid so much for this sort of stuff then why the hell shouldn't anyone sell them?
 That's like that guy who made a diamond human skull last year, asking £50M he was making an immence profit and he knew some idiot will buy it. Sure enough it was sold and im pleased hes found a way of exploiting the buyer. :lol:

I would bet any ammount that one of you would do the same too.

Good luck with your auction, I hope you get top dollar for it! Absolutely nothing wrong with selling on ebay or making a little extra cash. (As long as the seller is honest, I could care less where an item is sold. :-))
