Confirmation of compatibility OS4-IDE Adapter
« on: January 09, 2008, 08:47:41 PM »
Hi, could someone confirm that the item from Amiga- Kit :

4-Device Buffered IDE Interface (A1200/A600)
product code: ADAEZCDSE

is compatable with the classic version of OS4.

Yes I have read the list but would like reasurance before I send for the above item.

P.s I have got a Subway, and wifi card (still waiting for PCMCIA port adapter). Also would have to send for dvdrom drive would this act as an cdrom on the amiga(as the pc )

Shame I'll have to chuck the scsi cdrom, but that's progress.

Thanks in advance........Holmes
Started with a zx81,
wanted a c64
Ended up with an Electron with plus 3
Traded up to an Amiga 500
Traded up with a Amiga 1200
now in a ICS tower(Amigo+ppc240 with blizz+128ram)

Yes, the DVD-ROM drive will act just the same as a CD-ROM ... As for the rest of your query, I'll leave that to those in the know  :-)

Best option is to PM Amikit directly or email. Matthew's been wonderfully fast and courteous, when I've emailed him.  :-)
