Atari & Amiga? Refurbished & world wide shipping. Could this be Doomy? There was a Craig's List add that has been removed showing some of the same photos listing Beaverton as the city. The add in the link list Washington County (Beaverton?) and not Multnomah County where Portland is located. There is a person(s) who is frequently targeted on Portland-Craig's List Computer & Tech for TOS violations. On one occasion the person responded that the group would be flooded with (Amiga) adds as quickly as they would be removed.

It's hard being in the same area as the Craig's List lister but it has also paid off in spades. I have been given and purchased many Amigas thanks to the people who want to take their business elsewhere and not deal with the CL's lister. Here's what I've managed to get so far:

6 Amiga compatible monitors (some Comodore some not)
Opal vision
Personal Animation Recorder
os 3.1 3.5 3.9
brand new keyboard still in the box
boxes and boxes of software
boxes of cables, switch boxes, scsi cd & adapters.
6 A500
5 A2000 one was a video toaster
1 A3000
1 A1200
1 A4000T 060

I guess those craigslist auctions are a boon for you then.

In a round about way, yes the craigslist adds have helped me but they've hindered me too. I had been involved in NAG (Northwest Amiga Group) before it ceased to exist and still meet with some of the former group members on occasion. Social networking and sometimes just getting lucky have been the key to my success.

Well, if anyone sees anything they want, if they'd like, they can send me the money, plus shipping and I'll go pick it up for them and ship it, personally. It's not like I live that far from him.  ;-)

I kinda want that Rev 6 A500. I just got my free one from Cali, a few days ago, but it's undergoing a thorough cleaning, as we speak. Thankfully, the previous owner wasn't a smoker.  :-P

[EDIT] - Oh, TJ! You got any spare 1.3 Roms or a Fatter Agnus? Mine's OCS and has a 1.2 rom. =( Strangely, it's never been opened.  :-o
