IBrowse under OS4
« on: January 02, 2008, 11:32:51 PM »
I am running the IBrowse that came with OS4"classic", and I have several legitimage IBrowse2Key files that I personally bought, but this version of IBrowse does seem to ignore them.  Did I do something wrong, or does this "OEM" version of IBrowse not allow registration, or do I have to buy it again?

Okay, forget it.  I get it now.  I have nothing to gain from the OEM version, it's a '020 compile too.  I didn't read.  So, I have no reason to run the OEM version, I'll just run the one I bought.

Unfortunately, you cannot register the OEM version of IBrowse that comes with OS4.

Also, until a distributor is found, you cannot register ordinary versions at the moment. However, the IB Team are trying to sort this out.

As you say, your best bet is to use a standard IB2.4 with your current keyfile. I don't know what the OEM version lacks though. Lucky you kept upgrading

AMC258

remember to copy the native OS4 javascript.library also

Edit- i've noticed a javascript.library 020 version listed in the Compatibility list (JIT disabled).

Anybody knows why?
