Since I've had a few cognacs and this fall and winter has been a very good time for Amiga, I'm going to make some happy pink feel good predictions for Amiga and 2008. Please feel free to follow up with your own more sober and realistic predictions, but don't rain on my good mood! :-D

First they patch things up with Hyperion VOF. And for fall 2008 we see the release of OS4.5 with support for Mac PPC, PS3, Sam440 and EFIKA

March sees an update of OS4.2 with Open Office and FireFox from...
Discreet FX:
Announces in Febuary that FireFox for OS4 is completed

Completes A-Clone and releases it as a AmigaXX00 (0.5k to 4k Amiga) and a PCI card for OS4 PPC amigas.
Also Individual computers in the spirit of the new year has a deal with Amiga Inc and Samsung to release a series of Amiga cell phones running OS3.9 and bundled with a gigabyte of old classics from Team17, DMA Design, Bullfrog, Core, Ocean etc...
Jens gets filthy rich and famous for the cell phones and his best selling book "how I brought peace and prosperity to the Amiga community".
Dennis and his minimig posse:
Releases a Minimig 2.0 with 020, HD and AGA capabilities
AROS:
Get a million dollar donation from AINC for being such good sports while AINC was in the dark ages, and the new funding boosts them to release an AROS version with a complete set of IDE tools, updated Java JDK and up to date drivers for all relevant pc hardware such as wifi cards, gpus, sata and sound cards.
AmiKit with Jan Zahurancik:
Michael More makes Jan famous with his indepth docu-soap on the history of amiga until it's 2008 rebirth, and how Jan made a good working ami "distro". The doumentary ends with Jan, Bill, Jens and the Lehman brothers sings "We are the world".

A-Cube Systems:
April, with their enourmous success with the SAM440, minimig 1 and 2, they now with fanfare announces the availability of new itx size amiga1200 motherboards with license from AINC. Nostaligic amigians world wide rejoice and they sell 50k units the following spring and summer months. It also seems like its going to be the "fad" of 2008 to have an amiga and use it with your new touch screen samsung amiga phone.
Sony:
Wanting to cach in on the hype, they release a PS3 bundled with OS4.5 at $299, also the PSP is released in a new version with a touch screen and the A-Clone chip embedded.
REBOL Technologies:
It turns out that the "peace talks" between Hyperion and AINC were held at Carls ranch, and it was the beautiful nature, and friendly hosts that inspired the participants to make peace and lay out a roadmap to reclaim old glory. Carl later states on 60 minutes that he was inspired by the Oslo treaty of '97. When asked if that was smart considering that the Oslo treaty hasn't bore any fruits, he grins and says: "We'll I'm here, and we are now the hotest item on NASDAC, it worked!"
