C64 Games for Sale - Disc versions
« on: December 29, 2007, 08:54:22 PM »
Hi,

shifting through some stuff and I found some C64 games that are on disc (floppy 5 1/4 kind). I was going to stick up on ebay not sure on a price not much I guess. Any ideas anyone?

Superman Man of Steel
International Karate
Computer Maniacs 1989 Diary (might be interesting)
Defender of the grown
The Graphic Adventure creator
Times of Lore (Joystick only ver)
The President is missing
International 3D Tennis
Thunder Chopper ("The new state of the art in Helicopter simulation)
The Advanced OCP art sudtio by Rainbird.
Trivial Pursuit (Commodore Genus Edition)

I should add all are in orginal boxes but I have no idea if they work as it was my uncles C64 not mine.

Lastly, I have an orginal C64 disk drive with cables and power supply, again no idea if it worksm I can only assume so.

So, what do people think, any good?

Cheers and Happy new year to all Amiga nuts.

Some good games there, unfortunately the games are PAL and will not likely work in the USA on NTSC machines.

You could also try comp.sys.cbm newsgroup. If you are unfamiliar with newsgroups, click this link.

http://groups.google.com/group/comp.sys.cbm/topics

If you post, mention your location and they games are likely PAL.

In the end, you may be stuck with eBay. Forums are hit or miss for selling items like this, usually miss. If you take good pictures and sell the games individually, you may hit a home run on one or 2 games. I'm thinking Defender of the Crown and/or Times of Lore may get bid up if they are really complete and in good shape.

Good luck.

Hi,

Cheers for the feedback. I have no problems putting them on Ebay, just wanted to see if there was any interest at all before I spend time putting them up there.

Interesting point about PAL, I fogot that this might be an issue.

Happy new year
Andy
