Any Amiga Users In MA?
« on: December 27, 2007, 03:15:25 AM »
Hello all, I have been using amiga.org for a while and I enjoy it quite a bit.  I am just wondering if there are any Amiga users here located in MA.  I myself am located in New Bedford, MA and am the proud owner of an A2000T, 68040, OS 3.9.  An I also own a bare A500.  At this time I am only using WinUAE though for I cannot locate the keyboard or mouse for my a2000T.

I do run a BBS via telnet and I would list it here but I do not know if it it allowed.

Oh no! That brought back some memories. An old friend (whose name escapes me) of mine who collaborated with me on the Dallas Brawl lived in New Bedford and he owned an A4000. I think if you google punk tiger, his name will come up. He did a cute puppet show too.

LOL, I'm from Fall River!
Also known as " 'da 'riva"!

I'm not much of an Amiga user these days.  I do have a CD32 and SX-1 with OS 3.1 on it.  I had my second harddrive go bad due to bad power connections so my startup-sequence can't find lots of things I had start up from the second hard drive, but it does boot to Workbench.

I would love to see a CD32 PPC accelerator to run OS4 Classic.

I have some old used software for sale on my site www.gameparts.biz (see Used Amiga merchandise section).  I still have my Kickstart 3.1 disks.  I also have the external HD 3.5" drive (1.6MB disks)...

I did have an Amiga mouse but when a button on my PC mouse went bad years ago, I swapped a switch to it.  So only 1 button works I think.

Da' Riva  :)  Yes they do call it that.   My sister lives down there.  I prefer Fall River than New Bedford.  Anyhow, good to know ther are locals here on Amiga.org.

Can anyone tell me if it's allowed to put the address to my telnet BBs here?  Like I said I do not want to go and break any policies.  Thanks

Ah! Here it is. Mark Correia in lovely Bedford Falls.

Hasn't been updated in awhile though. I suppose he's still living there.

He got his A4000 free, but it was rather quirky if I remember. We used to trade weird music.
