@ Heinz, I'd have to say that your bet is the most realistic and also the most exciting. I certainly expect something from Individual computers this coming year... Clone A :)
1 x A500, Hi-toro 4000 :)
1 iMac OSx, 1 Mac Mini
1 Wintel 03 svr

Serious question: How will Deneb support work? Based on your actions, the general public viewpoint is that Poseidon is dead. Will E3B be providing support for the stack? (I'm asking with respect to E3B, the Deneb, and the Poseidon stack and not with respect to your personal relationships with Michael or anyone else in the Amiga community. Although, if for some reason you and Michael have a falling out, it does leave your customers without support and in many jurisdictions would expose E3B to quite a bit of legal risk.) That said, I suppose I should be posing this question to E3B directly.

First comes the Efika2 and MOS2.0 an then comes a nice, small media
device/picture frame made of it.

I hope this deneb card get's released with the poseidon stack with it.
I would be very willing to pay once again for this great software to go with the card.
I also am hoping on morphos 2.
And off course in the back off the head SAM still would come out soon.

I almost wish the Amiga would die so that it could come back as a retro platform.

As soon as I think about Amiga, I go into whats the latest...get into a dizzying array of lawsuits, whats coming real soon now, and etc....and decide to wait.

Atari is dead, but look at the prices for the Atari 1040ST's skyrocketing....  they old hardware is rare, at the same time people are having fun with the 'retro' craze.

Amiga's....well, they have some value too, but who wants to get sucked into it all...

Really I may have just said I wished the Amiga was dead...thats the 2nd choice, the first choice would be for everything to get straightened out...if wishing, might as well wish for that....but its all just going to keep going as it is...

thats my prediction for 2008:  see 2007.

I've love to see a tiny expansion for CD32

Onboard 8MB RAM, memory card reader (SD or/and CF) and ethernet. Or maybe just RAM, some flash and clockport for subway, and then usb card reader and usb-ethernet adaptert. Flash for usb stack and device drivers ofcourse :-)

Software:

1 - A Nice Browser ! Traveller for classic Amiga maybe... Anything that can surf the web in a nice fashion
2 - Some visual language. Name it: Basic, C, Pascal, Amos, E... whatever. As long as it has something as simple as VB to design windows and gadgets and all MUI stuff...

Hardware:

1 - A new Amiga !  :-?  Ain't it funny ? We are having fun using machines that are probably slower and have less resources than any DVD player and it seems that we are the only people in the world that thinks building an Amiga compatible is something useful. There are nice stuff selling a lot, like Ataris and C64s in a joystick, MSX in a chip, Speccy in a phone... Maybe someone could try an Amiga in a refrigerator or something  :-D I really doubt AInc would think about not selling Kickstart chips to mass production.
Why can't AmigaOS replace WinCE (at least in part) in embbedded stuff ? WinCE is huge and requires lots of hardware compared to AOS. I've seen quite a number of applications that have either CE or uCLinux that would benefit a lof from a lightweight preemptive system like AOS. It seems very competitive to me
    2 - Wait and see...  :-)

This is off-topic, so if you want to discuss this further, please either use PM or open another thread. Short answer: Yes, I am still providing support for Poseidon and will do as long as possible.

It's funny to see people take a "make a prediction" post and turn it into a wishlist. Doesn't anyone read anymore?

Anyhow, my set of *predictions* (do not take'em seriously, heh):

Hardware:
Deneb like Chris said (he must know best, right? :-) can we like pre-order?)
Some newer mutation(s) of MiniMig
New batch of Apollo 1260s (hint hint)
Clone-A

Software:
AROS improved x 2
AROS browser Traveller
AmigaOS4 for non-classic platform
AmigaOS4 for the PS3 CELL processor

OK, that last one was to pull yer leg, ya gullable suckerz :-D
