AMV Converter ? Amiga ? OS X ?
« on: December 15, 2007, 01:30:53 AM »
AMV Files ... :-)

Anyone who has an idea how to convert .mpg or .avi videos into AMV ?

Found one single lousy AMV file on the net. An episode of South Park
Need more of that... So a converter for MAC OX Tiger would be the best.

Found 0 For the AMIGA to :-S ... Kind of suspected that though :-)

Found 10 ... But all for Windows. Have Virtuel PC with windows, but
how to move my Movie Files from my Mac to the Windos ? Can I do
that ?

Did you try MPlayer (comes with MEncoder which will transcode anything MPlayer plays) ?

Looks like there's a demuxer added recently for AMV:

There are mencoder versions for OS4 and MOS, unfortunately they're older and they possibly don't support AMV demuxing.

Makes sense. I was hoping TheMud would try it on his Mac (since he mentioned trying it on there)
