questions about pal-n and ntcs

I am going to get a amiga 1200 for run old games that i found in internet .
and when a use to live on europe i had  a a500 ntcs and i had problems for run games because my a500 was ntcs .
now i am living in the usa and i dont kown what to buy , paln o ntcs , remenber that the  old games i have are from internet.
which amiga do i have to by pal o ntcs ?
am i gonig to have any problems for run games or sof that i got from internet by a normal pc ?

It depends on where you live. If you live in the US, buy NTSC. If you live in Europe/Australia, then buy PAL.

Amiga 1200s allow you to select between PAL and NTSC output, but I have never tried it, so don't know how successful it is.

i kown that , but can i have any problem runing soft from internet or pal -n whit a amiga 1200 ntsc ?
i use to had  2 amigas one ntcs and pal . ( living in europe)
and whit the ntcs some games didint work , and someone told me  that the problen was that  i had a amiga ntcs . (i did not have any problems runnig games  whit the amiga pal-n)

You won't encounter many problems with an
NTSC machine but you may have to select PAL
mode from the early startup menu or use
a PAL boot disk of some kind to get certain
games that require PAL mode to work.

Also, remember that TVs in north america generally
can't display PAL mode, so you will need a
1084 or better monitor or possibly some
composite monitors will be OK.  In any case
you can switch between NTSC and PAL quite
easily on an A1200 from the early startup.
(hold down both mouse buttons when turning on)

Also, many of the old floppy games can be
installed to the harddrive now using JST or
WHDLoad from aminet and the associated installs
that use them...
