AFA OS Problems morelibspace hangs
« on: December 03, 2007, 06:01:11 PM »
Hi,

I had AFA OS working. Well sort of!

My 2000 however now refuses to boot if the line C:morelibspace is present in the startup-sequence.

The first few lines in my startup-sequence are

echo "loading"
C:MoreLibSpace
SetPatch
echo "loaded"

NB The echos were added to see where it was hanging.

On booting, it gets as far as setpatch, reboots and on the second boot it just displays loading and hangs.

If I choose to boot with no startup-sequence and execute s:startup-sequence it gets as far as setpatch, reboots, gets to setpatch, reboots again and third time lucky it boots all the way to Workbench.

eh????

Any clues as to how to fix this would be much appreciated.

Have you tried adding the REBOOT argument after c:morelibspace?

Just tried the reboot option and it still hangs at morelibspace after the reboot.

Only way it seems to work is if I boot with no startup and then execute it

Don't know if this means anything but SetPatch outputs the same thing on the 1st two reboots and on the 3rd reboot it scans for scsi devices. It's as if the 1st reboot hasn't taken effect.
