Cant start Amikit
« on: November 22, 2007, 10:39:58 PM »
Hi all,
I have got a new HD an 80Gig with Win2000 on it.
Ok I have many partitions one that has Amikit inside it alongside Winuae latest version with ROM 3.1

I downloaded Amikit 1.4.0 and installed it.

Now when I try to run Amikit I get this error in a shell:-

C/FastAssign: unknown command
C/FastAssign failed returncode 10

I dont know how to get around this?

I must be doing some thing wrong, but I just cant see it.

Any help please

TIA,

Mike.

Win2000? Is that WinXP?

What Windows filesystem do you use?

Is the FastAssign command in AmiKit\AmiKit\C directory?

No Windows 2000 is not Windows XP.

NTFS file system is what I am using.

Yes FastAssign is in the C directory.

I did have Amikit working before but I have got a new HD
So now I am putting Amikit back on again but this time I am having problems.
The version of Amikit is the 1.4.0 full 111mb.
And Winuae latest version.
With the correct Rom from an 1200 Amiga 3.1 ROM.
