Do they have a heat sink? or fan?
I think it depends, if PG has any I'm sure he would sell you one with the card.
They don't need extra cooling at the default speed, obviously you must keep it cool if you overclock. No problem in a tower, but a little more tricky in a desktop -- unless you buy a "blower" type 40mm fan (blows sideways). I decided not to go with a blower-type since I wanted something quiet.
I just received an
Enzotech low-profile copper NB cooler for mine. It's a nice size, and comes with an ultra-flat polished surface that shouldn't need lapping. I'm going to use some Ceramique, with just a *smidge* of thermal glue at the corners, so I can take the sink off relatively easy in the future.
I also picked up a 40x10mm SilenX fan (the Pabst equivalent is probably better), and unfortunately it and the sink won't quite fit without hitting the underside of the keyboard. I'm probably going to "rig" some kind of ducting so the fan can be mounted next to the cooler. Naturally, a shorter heatsink could be used, but I prefer a larger copper sink and lower airflow as opposed to a small sink and a noisier fan.
Anyhoo, time to stop rambling and go eat some Salmon! ;-)
cheers
